The inaugural International Trans-Atlantic Masters Squash Series (TAMS) was played in New York on the 15th and 16th March with Mens over 50 & over 60 teams and a Ladies over 50 team competing against opposition from Canada, Ireland and the United States.
Hertfordshire was well represented in the event with Eamonn Price (Harpenden), Louisa Dalwood (Nuffield/Harpenden) and Jillian Lillico (Radlett) part of a 13-strong England Squash Master’s team of over 50s men and women and over 60s men.
The England team clinched overall victory in what proved to be a competitive and very social event held at the prestigious Yale, Harvard and Harmonie clubs with some incredibly tough matches in what will hopefully become a regular masters fixture.
