Grace Gear Represents England in European U17 Team Championships

Hertfordshire teenager Grace Gear returns from Portugal a winner having competed in the European Team Championships for England.

In the Group Stage the U17 England team – the number one seeds – beat Scotland, Hungary, hosts Portugal and Germany to progress to the quarters.

They then met Denmark, who they beat to set up a semi-final meeting with Ireland.
And the young England stars held their nerves to book their place in the final against second seeds, France.

After great performances by all the England team were victorious.

The victorious England Under-17 squash team that won the European Championships in Lisbon, Portugal.
