Those who turned up to the Herts AGM at Broxbourne Squash Club on 18th June were treated to a fantastic exhibition match between Ondrej Uherka and Rui Soares, Rui just winning in the fifth. Thanks for such an entertaining match!
The AGM took place after the exhibition match and sparked some lively and interesting discussions from the floor. Many subjects were covered together with results for the Summer and Winter leagues and also the Herts Closed last year. The Ladies O50 county team were presented with the Wilkinson Sword for their achievement of winning the National Inter County Championships 2015. Phil Jenkins from Letchworth Squash Club, the current holders of the Wilkinson Sword, played a friendly match with Maureen Morrison (from the team) before presenting the trophy to the ladies team. Congratulations and well done to them!
